*Stuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of
a sugar cone to prevent ice cream drips
*To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in
the bag with them.
*When baking a cake flour the pan with some of
the dry cake mix and there won’t be any white mess
on the outside of the cake.
*If you accidentally oversalt a dish while it is still
cooking, drop a peeled potato in and it will absorb
the excess salt for an instant “fix-me-up”.
*Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in
the refrigerator and it will keep for weeks.
*Brush beaten egg white over pie crust to yield a
beautiful glossy finish.
*Have a headache? Cut a lime in half and rub it on
forehead. The throbbing should go away.
*Freeze leftover wine in ice cube trays for future use
in casseroles and sauces.
